Accomplishments:
Brought a two-tier company that was operating their retail chain and wholesale divisions as
separate entities into a combined single division. Improved internal communications and
cooperation by implementing team building strategies. And originated a monthly “music
paper:“ called Sweet Potato, distributed to night clubs and college campuses. Results:
Sales increased by 32.5% in an industry growing at 6%, at the time.
In 90 days, brought in $600,000 in new business to an advertising and public relations
firm. Reassigned personnel, recruited new sales and creative staff. Results: Maine’s largest
ad agency at the time. Promoted from VP, Business Development to President/General Manager.
Wrote and designed new branding strategy for retail chain of jewelry stores, created new logo
that is still being used as an animated tag on TV spots, and an imprint on all collateral
material. Presented customer service, people-reading skills, and salesmanship seminars
to retail staff and management team. Results: Record-setting sales increases in all fields.
Developed Mindgoal Goal Achievement Strategies. Worked with tennis players, baseball players,
and golfers on improving their sports performance through visualization, meditation and
relaxation techniques designed to enhance right-brain activity. Results: Eliminated “chip yips“ for
a teaching pro golfer, and worked with one client who became his golf club champion.
